Five different SAFURE partners were present at the date conference that took place from the 14th to the 18th of March 2016 in Dresden, Germany. In order to present the SAFURE project at the conference, the consortium created a poster on the work in progress and the consortium rented a booth at the exhibition especially dedicated to European projects.
Further, the project partner TUBS presented two papers, namely “Formal Analysis Based Evaluation of Software Defined Networking for Time-Sensitive Ethernet” (Authors: Daniel Thiele and Rolf Ernst) in the session “Automotive Systems and Smart Energy Systems” as well as “Formal Worst-Case Timing Analysis of Ethernet TSN’s Burst-Limiting Shaper” (Authors: Daniel Thiele and Rolf Ernst) in the session “Timing Analysis and Measurement”.
Summing up, the conference the conference was a great opportunity for SAFURE to gain valuable insights in the newest technologies of ICs/SoCs, reconfigurable hardware and embedded systems, including embedded software. Additionally, it brought together a varied audience of designers and design automation users, researchers and vendors, as well as specialists in the hardware and software design to whom the project could be presented.
